HERB MCPHERSON President and Chief Executive Officer Email: Herb has more than 29 years of experience in the banking, trust and financial services industries. He has held executive positions with major financial institutions prior to forming Investors Independent Trust Company in 1996. During his 18-year tenure at SEI, the largest domestic provider of trust accounting and investment services, he managed their western region operation and upon returning to their headquarters, he founded the highly successful Asset Management Division. Herb received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. He has also completed the Canon Trust School. Currently serving as president of the Association of Independent Trust Companies, a national trade group representing trust companies throughout the country with more than $48 billion in assets under management, Herb has a national reputation as a leader in the independent trust industry. He is also active on the regional level by serving on the board of the Association of Colorado Trust Companies and at the local level as a director of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council, currently serving as treasurer.
