He has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry serving as department manager and trust account administrator. Additionally, Mike has presented extensively as a guest speaker to civic and professional organizations on trust and estate planning and will continue to do so in his role as Chief Trust Officer. From 1988-1996, Mike was Vice President and Trust Officer at Ameritrust/Society Bank in Kokomo, Indiana. From 1996-2002, he served as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust in Coldwater. Mike is a graduate of Indiana State University where he majored in finance and management, a graduate of the National Trust School and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Mike was awarded the designation of Certified Financial Services Counselor (C.F.S.C.) for graduating in the top 20 percent of his class.
